Geraldine Fortin Seymour

Colchester - Geraldine Fortin Seymour was born February 22, 1921 and passed away on March 14, 2018 with loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late William and Selina Boileau Fortin. She married Albert Seymour on May 7, 1949 who predeceased her in July 1990.

Gerry is survived by her daughters Charleen Pariseau and Brenda Bean; Her granddaughter Monique Sordiff, her husband Roger and their sons Fletcher and Chase and the dog Jax. Her grandsons Garry Bean, his wife Melissa and their children Logan and Jordan Bean, Carmella and Christian Voity; Robby Bean, his wife Kassandra and their son Carter. She was also survived by her former son-in-law David Pariseau and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gerry was predeceased by her sons-in-law Garry Bean, William Derway, and a granddaughter Baby Love at birth; her brothers Leo and his wife Gertrude Fortin and Bill and his wife Theresa Fortin.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the VNA, VNA Adult Day Program, and Green Mountain Nursing Home for the compassion and care she received. Also a special thank you to her VNA caregiver Jane Germaine for the wonderful care and love she gave to our mom/grandmother over the last few years.

Calling hours will be Monday, March 19, 2018 from 4:30-7:30pm at Ready Funeral Home South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday March 20, at 10:00am at Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral, Burlington. A burial service will be in the spring. so sorry Charlene Monique, roger,brend,and the rest of the family at the passing of your mom/grammy...she lived an amazing life how blessed you were to have her by your side for 97 years I know she was greatly loved and will be greatly missed may she be resting and watching from above giving you comfort and peace thoughts and prayers with you
