HAROLD PERKINS Obituary

HAROLD K. PERKINS - COLCHESTER - Harold K. "Hal" Perkins, of Colchester, died on Dec. 3, 2013. He was born Aug. 6, 1957, to the late Harold P. and Priscilla Pomeroy Perkins. He is survived by his children, Priscilla and Justin Perkins; grandchildren, Austin and Autumn; siblings, Robert and Claudine Perkins, Helen Schroeder, Joyce Perkins, Janet Paquin, Jean and Jack Roberts, and Debra and Bruce Bushey; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Kate Bruno, his longtime caregiver. The family will hold graveside services at the North Ferrisburgh Cemetery for family and friends on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at the Congregational Church in Vergennes. The Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Cremation services by Stephen C. Gregory and Son.

I had not heard that you left this realm, I moved to florida, but I want to share a story about a dream I had, I was telling someone about you, that o matter what you did I could never get mad at you when I saw your big blue eyes and your smile,I never stopped loving you. But the day I said that I said that I had a dream and I was in a bar and I was trying to find the door to leave and all of a sudden the door opened and there you were walking in with a huge smile and we hugged and I was so excited to see you walking and what surprised me the most was you came on the same night after I had been talking about those blue eyes and beautiful smile. A I know it was you. I just wish you would come back and visit again but I know everyone who knew you would wish for the same visit to.

Howwie, our dear sweet friend. Its Sindy and Sid. We didn't make it to the funeral, due to not being aware not because we would not have been honered to be there. You were a smart funny man that even with his not so good cirumstanes, always kept a smile on his fae and anytime he could still loved to do many fun outdoor activitys witch included fishing hunting. You will be missed by many. Us i know you are alwasys in our heart

Howie .....Tommy, Illy and I will miss you greatly! you're always somebody that Tommy could fully trust and someone he would enjoy talking too if ever he went missing at my in laws I knew he was downstairs in Howie'a room. Illianna is going to miss stealing all your Reeses Cups and all those times you would take her for rides in your chair she is still asking about you Howie she missed you alot but will hopefully understand soon and Howie I truly am going to miss drinking a beer with you and those times we went fishing may you for ever Rest In Peace Love the Brunos'

So sorry to read of Howies passing, our son Dan and him lived together for several years, they both had many challenges to meet, he was always so nice to us. Last time I saw him was at Dans funeral in Aug 2009. I am sure they are chatting in heaven. Dan was 46 and Howie lived to 56. We extend our sincere sympathy to his children and all his family and his caregiver. RIP as u both are now walking in another place.

I had a chance to visit with Howie a few months ago. I am glad I stopped and took the time to have a nice chat. So sorry for your loss as there is nothing harder then losing a family member at such young a age.
