Kyle Gelais Obituary
Alburgh - Kyle Russell St. Gelais, 29 of Alburgh, VT passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 28, 2021 in a house fire. Kyle was the beloved son of Russell and Laurie St. Gelais and brother to Jamie St. Gelais who all reside in Georgia, VT. Kyle really enjoyed being a part of the union working as a journeyman electrician for Peck Electric. Kyle loved working on projects with his ol'man, sister and friends where he could explore his creativity and various skills. He was a very special young man and loved helping his family and friends. Besides his parents and sister Kyle leaves behind his paternal grandfather, Leonard St. Gelais and Aunt Denise St. Gelais of Winooski, VT. His Aunt Rosemary Aiken of Burlington, VT, Aunt Ann and Uncle Jim Maynard of Colchester, VT, Aunt Doris and Uncle Mike Trainque and cousin Tony Trainque of Milton, VT. He also leaves behind several other cousins and their families. Kyle was very fortunate to have an amazing group of friends who loved to hang out, fish and joke around. Jacob Forkas, Jared Shaw, Willie Shaw and Jamie Price, he loved all of you. Kyle will be greatly missed by all and he was the best son, brother and friend anyone could ask for. Kyle was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Roy and Arlene Chamberlain. Maternal grandmother Ardelle St. Gelais and his special dog, Taylor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alburgh Fire Department, 60 Firehouse Road, Alburgh, VT 05440. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday February 3, 2021 in the Minor Funeral Home 237 Rt 7 South, Milton between the hours of 5 and 7 pm. www.minorfh.com

Laurie, Russ and Jamie,
We were saddened to hear of Kyle’s sudden passing. Our hearts go out to you. My most recent interaction with Kyle was through work. I was very impressed with his work ethics and knowledge as an electrician. He was always very respectful and kind. We know God has a plan for him but that doesn’t make this any easier for all of you. Kyle.. I don’t even know how to wrap my head around this. You were always that guy who comes in an makes everyone’s day a little better no matter what and we’re all gonna miss that a lot. You have no idea how much you mean to a lot of people, I don’t know anybody who has ever met you and NOT loved ya man.
