LAURI ANN LITTLEFIELD

LAURI ANN LITTLEFIELD - ESSEX - Lauri Ann Littlefield, 53, died unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, following a heart attack. Lauri was born on Aug. 26, 1960, in Burlington. She had worked for the Lawrence Barnes School in Burlington for 16 years, before becoming a home provider for developmentally disabled children and adults. On July 10, 1993, she married her soul mate and best friend, Cilla Letourneau, in St. James Episcopal Church in South Burlington. They built a wonderful life together traveling, working with kids and adults in need. They not only built a life together, they enriched the lives of many. Lauri made their homestead a place to gather and safe haven for all who entered. There was always extra food at mealtime for those who needed a meal or just a warm welcome. Lauri gave life to everyone who crossed her path. Lauri had many interests, she loved to shop, girl weekends, and enjoyed crafting, gardening, decorating and remodeling. She also enjoyed traveling and mentoring kids, but most especially, spending time with her families. She loved to organize everyone, and she made her home welcoming to all who passed by. Lauri's circle of family was very diverse and she loved each and every one. She is survived by her spouse and soul mate of 23 years, Cilla Letourneau of Essex; children, Shaun Littlefield and friend, Arianna, of Essex; Kevin Fournier and Brittney and baby, Easton, of Essex; Sabrina Pretty and husband, Tony, and their children, Alyssa, Chasity, Conner and Carly, of St. Albans; Andrew Fournier and Morgan Mitchell of Fairfax; and Robert Barbour and Chelse Smith and daughter, Bryleigh, of Essex; parents, Charles and Nancy (Beaupre) Littlefield; grandmother, Loretta Beaupre; siblings, Cindy Latuch and husband, Brian, all of Milton; Kathleen MacKrell and husband, William, and children, of Virginia; Scott Littlefield of Cambridge, and children; stepsisters, Cheri Simmons and family; and Cary and Ricky Rubio, and children, of California; mother-in-law, Dolorese Letourneau of Holland, Vt.; brother-in-law, Bert and Sue Letourneau and children, of Holland, Vt.; brother-in-law, Yves and Ruth Letourneau, and Richard Dalley, of Newport; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and many special friends, especially, Roger and Lynn, Jim and Maryann Ellington, and Jimmie, Steve and Kendra Todd-W., and Louis Blake and Valerie Brooks. Lauri will be dearly missed by Lou Blake and Valerie Brooks, whom Lauri cared for, for many years; and by her special four-legged friends, Toby, Baxter, Zena, Boots, Bereallo and her darling ms. pretty. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the United Church of Milton. Burial will be in the Milton Village Cemetery.
