I knew Lisa while she was a student teacher at Peoples Academy during my senior year of high school. She was such a wonderful person and made my english class 100 times better. I got very close with her and was proud to call her not only an amazing teacher but a wonderful friend as well. On behalf of me and my entire class i wanted to say how sorry we are for your loss. Lisa was my student teacher in the Fall of 2011. I truly loved having her in my room every day. She was full of questions, insights, warmth, compassion, smiles, and love. She had a natural gift for working with people and the students really responded to her, as did the faculty and staff here at Peoples Academy. We ALL send our love, thoughts and prayers. I will miss Lisa. She was a rare, beautiful gem who truly understood herself. She would have been a wonderful and important teacher. Please contact me if you need to.

Lisa has the most beautiful soul,smile and voice. I loved every minute I had the privilege of spending with Lisa growing up. She taught me so much introduced me to so many things.Helped me through so many hard times. Some of my fondest memories are with her. One of my favorite one was a few summers ago when we went to York Beach and played Kubb we got a large crowd after a while and Lisa just started inviting anyone and everyone to play with us! She was always so polite and willing to make a new friend or help someone out! That's just one of the many things that made Lisa such an amazing person. I am very touched by the sad news of Lisa Korth. I went to college with her, I didn't know her, but she graduated from our school last May, I know that she was a hard worker, and a beautiful person. This must be extremely hard for the family. I would like to send my thoughts and hugs. I wish there was something I could say to ease the pain, but this tragedy happened before she could even start her life, there's no way to ease that pain.

I have no words for this unfortunate incident. Lisa was a wonderful person. She had a great personality and made everyone smile around her. I loved playing basketball with her and going to school with her. It was always great running into her whenever I was home. I know she loved each of you dearly. She respected her parents and was a proud sister. I was severely heart broken when I found out the news. I still can't believe this is true. I know that it isn't fair by any means and still feels surreal. I know your family will group together and make her proud through everything you do.
