I met Pat Varrichione when he briefly lived in our Christian commune on College St. along with his sister, Annie. He must have just come home from Vietnam. It was during this time that Pat came to know Jesus. We played tennis together several times a week and he was part of my production team for our syndicated radio show, "The Rock That Never Rolls!" As others have shared, Pat was upbeat and funny and always put a smile on your face. Pat became a good friend and brother in the LORD and I am grateful that God brought Pat to our commune along with his sister Annie. I know that I will see them both in either Paradise or at the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb! (in the attached photo, taken on a cold winter day at Red Rocks beach in S. Burlington. Pat is in the center. Not surprising!)

I was so sad to hear we list our dear Pat. I looked forward to seeing him each morning at work. He was always upbeat, with a twinkle in his eye and never failed to make my day start out with a smile or a laugh. I'll think of Pat often and am proud to say he was my good friend.

Growing up on Scarff Avenue, my sisters and I were friends with many members of the Varricchione tribe. It is never easy losing a loved one.
My condolences to the family of Pat.
