Roseline Osborne Obituary
Age: 59 • Richmond
After a brave and courageous four year fight with cancer and then a recent paralyzing stroke, during her sleep on Aug. 6, 2017 Rosie peacefully joined her parents and brother in God's kingdom of heaven.
On Aug. 23, 1957 Rosie was born in Burlington to Roland and Lorraine Osborne. She attended schools in Burlington; graduating from Burlington High School in 1975. She dedicated her loving spirit as a coach to Chittenden County Special Olympians for many years. From the opening of its doors in 1997, in various positions for 14 years, she proudly served the customers of Walmart in Williston where many friendships in her life began.
Rosie was predeceased by her parents Roland and Lorraine Osborne and her brother Denis Osborne. She is survived by her son Christopher Rushlow and life partner Tammy Hiter; daughter Lee Osborne and spouse LaDonna; precious grandson Christopher "Junior" Rushlow; step-grandchildren Savannah and Vinny; sister Lucia Osborne-Wilder Foley and spouse Jerry; sister Claire Osborne-Hinckley and spouse Al; nephew Nicholas Wilder and his significant other Katie Fortune; niece Andrea Osborne Milne and husband Curran; nephew Timothy Wilder and future wife Jillian Dusenbury; great nieces Shannon and Bridget Milne; many cousins and very special friends.
Rosie was a joyful, cheerful, delightful and fun spirited person who was always ready for a good laugh. She will be missed by all who have touched her life.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, August 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Boucher & Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 No. Winooski Ave. in Burlington. Burial will take place the following day at 11 a.m. in the East Cemetery in Williston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of Vt., 16 Gregory Dr., #2, So. Burlington, VT 05403 or to All Breed Rescue, 491 Industrial Ave., Williston, VT 05495.

I went to high school with Rosie, and we worked together at Gaines Shoppers World for years. She was a wonderful, giving, loving person, so full of life... and I loved working with her. I have very fond memories of her and our escapades of long ago, and wanted to give you all my sincere sympathy. She will be missed.

Dear departed Cousine. You will be missed a lot, but considering all the troubles and pain you have suffered those last 4 years, we are happy for you, for we know that the suffering is over. You are finally in a better place, with some members of your family, free of pain, at last You were a fighter all through the ordeal , and now, it is high time you take a long well deserved rest.
