Theresa Barsaiou Todriif, 69, of Jericho, Vermont died August 25, 2015.
Survived by the love of her life, Cary Todriff, sisters Madelaine (Claude) Racine and Elaine (John) Gregory, many nieces and nephews and a special caregiver and sister-in-law Pat Edwards. Theresa was predeceased by her parents and sister Pauline Lavalle and brother Paul Barsaiou.
Most of Theresa's career was spent working for IBM. Theresa was a very generous person who loved her family, friends and animals. Her nieces and nephews were especially devoted to her. Theresa faced a multitude of medical challenges very graciously, always with a good spirit and quick wit. Theresa
always had a smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral mass will be Friday, August 28 at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Shelburne. A reception will follow. Her family wishes to thank the dialysis unit on Joy Drive and the caregivers from UVA for the wonderful care she received.

I miss Theresa terribly. She was a champion Yahtzee player as she was hard to beat.. also a wonderful cook as she shared many recipes.. a friend that will always be missed.

Cary, Maggie and Elaine, Thank you for taking time to visit with Nate and me after Theresa's service. What a lovely tribute to a special friend.
Theresa was, and always will be, one of my favorite childhood friends. I enjoy many fond memories of us growing up on Ferguson Avenue. Examples - meat pie on Christmas Eve; Rosary at 7:00 every night; playing 'roll the bat' down the middle of Ferguson Ave.; eating fresh tomatoes, from her garden, on bread with mayonnaise in the kitchen; summer vacations at Lake Eden; meeting Cary and Gary at the corner of Ferguson Ave. and Wells Street to hold hands when we were probably 13; working at the gas station and watching the drive in movies from across the street; hanging out with Maggie who we always loved to be with and the memories go on and on...
