TIMOTHY PELLERIN Obituary

TIMOTHY LOUIS PELLERIN - DURANGO, Colo. - Timothy Louis Pellerin, 53, passed away on Dec. 27, 2014, at his home after suffering from a brief illness. Tim was born in Burlington on March 15, 1961, to Norman and Annette (Langlois) Pellerin. He grew up in Underhill and graduated from Mount Mansfield Union High School and Essex Technical Center in 1979. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Marines and was stationed in Japan and Yuma, Ariz. After serving in the Marines, he returned to Vermont and found he had a talent and skill in woodworking and made fine cabinetry and furniture. In the mid-1980s he moved to Colorado, where he worked in construction and began his own construction company. Tim loved the outdoors and enjoyed snowboarding, hiking, sailing and gardening, as well as raising a few farm animals. Tim was a private person with a peaceful, kind and gentle heart. Friends and family enjoyed his easygoing manner, wisdom and dry sense of humor. He had a can-do attitude, and with a little research could build anything from a car to house or sailboat. He loved learning how to do things and how to do them better or in an unconventional manner. We will all miss him. Tim is survived by his son, Zephyr of San Francisco; father, Norman Pellerin of Essex; sisters, Marie Keefe and husband, David, of Fairfax, and Lori Lembesis and husband, Nick, of Burlington; and brother, Peter and wife, Rebecca, of Denver, Colo. His mother, Annette Pellerin, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014. Arrangements will be made for a memorial service to celebrate his life in the spring. Faith Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements. The family invites you to share your condolences and memories by going to www.faithfh.net.

Thinking fondly of our time together and the life lessons learned and shared. It has given me an opportunity to reflect upon the things in life that set the course for the future. I would very likely have walked a different path were it not for having Tim and Annette in my life. I appreciate the unconventional knowledge that Tim would apply to our woodworking and most all his projects. My time spent in Underhill attending college and living on the Farm brought me a great appreciation for life outside my CO bubble and has continued with me to this day. I would not be the Carpenter/Contractor that I am without Tim's support and encouragement to do what I wanted to do, nor would I be living in the country on my Farm producing food for the masses were it not for spending some of my formative years spent in the soil with
Annette. Rest in Peace and live on in Memories as long as we're still here! My condolences to the entire Pellerin Family and especially my little Brother Zeph. I don't know what you must be going through, but I love and support You all the way!

I met Tim in Aspen when he and my daughter Sarah were both living and working there, many many years ago. I never forgot him...nor, of course, did daughter Sarah. He was a beautiful young man even then, full of fun and spirit and easy going humor. Over the years, Sarah and I have often reminisced about him and we were both profoundly saddened to hear he had passed. What a terrible loss. you have my deepest sympathy. I really am so, so sorry.

To the Pellerins,
I taught Tim during his middle school years. He was a beautiful boy with a great smile. Evidently he warmed many hearts with that smile as he grew to manhood. It is difficult to believe he is gone. God Bless!
