Vi, so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I so much enjoyed my relationship with you and him in Burlington.

I will have always thought of him as the hardest working or should I say hardest thinking person I know. Whether it was in medicine or horticulture or even investing, he was an incredibly profound thinker.

I remember if my memory is correct that you both came in to see me the morning of 9/11. I told you about what had happened with the towers but we proceeded to talk very rationally and unemotionally about long-term needs and your objectives. Very much like Bill to stay focused on the important things.

Good luck getting through this very sad moment. But I have faith in you.
