My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. He was a wonderful person. I worked in conjunction with him for over 25 years and he was a great asset and friend to all in the law enforcement community. He will be sorely missed.

I thought the world of Scott. As did all who knew him. We started IBP on the same day, going through orientation together. It was easy to be friends with him. Later he was my neighbor. The P.D. seem to suit him well. Always helpful. Always with that smile. I was so sad to hear of his passing. Gone way too soon. My deepest sympathy for his family. Hugs to all.

Scott and I met on the scene of a vehicle fire in early 1983 when I was a rookie firefighter at the EFD. I appreciate the friendship that we shared from that day forward.

Scott always treated me with kindness and respect. ❤

My heart aches for Scott's loved ones who are feeling the impact of his absence. My heartfelt thoughts are with you. ❤

So sad to hear about Scott's passing. Enjoyed working with him when he was with Emproia PD and I was with Emporia SRS. Watched him at Mayetta race track a few times - he always enjoyed those races and the demolition derby for sure! He was a good man!
