Shirley Driggs Obituary

SHIRLEY ANN DRIGGS Shirley Ann Driggs, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on August 10, 1945, in Converse, Louisiana, Shirley was the cherished daughter of George Wilke Lewis and Clarice Marie Craig. Shirley went to Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. She had a vibrant personality and a passion for life that made her unforgettable to everyone she met. Whether Shirley was talking about hot-rod cars or playing her favorite Elvis records, she brought joy and warmth to every conversation. Shirley's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her independent spirit, her love of rock 'n' roll, and her deep loyalty to family and friends. She is survived by her children, Billie Jo Richardson, of El Dorado, and Ricky Gene (Stacey) Quarles, of El Dorado; her grandchildren, Dusty (Britney) Foshee, of Wolfforth, TX, Kimberly (Travis) Henderson, of El Dorado, Marissa (Brandon) Maus, of Whitewater, Raychel (David) Henderson, of Potwin, Taylor (Christian) Morris, of El Dorado, Christopher Ray (Joshie) Quarles, of Andrews, TX, Cassie Marie Quarles, of El Dorado; 17 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Mike (Terry) Lewis, and David (Nelda) Lewis; her sister, Deanna Kaye Walls. Shirley was preceded in passing by her parents, her brothers, Huey Alan Lewis and Johnny Lewis, and her sister, Joye Blaylock. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at a later date.
