Yvonne Jewell Glodo Dagel

YVONNE JEWELL GLODO DAGEL Yvonne Jewell Glodo Dagel, 95, of Augusta, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025.  A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Yvonne will be remembered for her kindness, gentleness, and love for her family. Born on January 3, 1930, in Colombia, Missouri, Yvonne grew up with one sister and two brothers. Yvonne was an avid and gifted seamstress and enjoyed showcasing and selling her work at craft shows and markets across Kansas. Yvonne was also known for her beautiful wedding cake decorations. When she wasn't sewing, she could be found gardening and spending time in her greenhouse. Yvonne was married to her husband, Verl Dagel, deceased, in August 1963. Together, they enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing, as well as playing cards or dominoes every day at lunch. They had five children: Arlana Schaul, deceased, and Larry Prewett, deceased. Yvonne is survived by two daughters, Teresa Benton and Yolanda Nicely, and a son, Mike Prewett, as well as nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. No services will be held.
