Audrey Whitstone was a true original! I had the good fortune to live next-door to Audrey (in fact, she lived in one side and I in the other of a duplex). She was a wonderful neighbor, a good friend, and I always enjoyed her unique perspective on any subject. She was a fascinating guest at any party, and being in her company was real treat. We have lost a good friend, and the world has lost a very creative soul.
My wife and I offer both her family and friends our deepest sympathy, and we are truly sorry for your great loss.

To Audrey 's family, sending deepest sympathy in the loss of such a classy and gifted lady. Who is loved by many. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and I was so proud to call her my friend. I met her through the Laurel Tree and loved her dearly. Such an inspiration she was in so many ways. Such a talented artist she was and gave so much to all of us. We all felt she was such an asset to the store. Loved by everyone. Sue Morrow and your mother and I went to Columbas for an Art Show and coming home we laughed the whole way home. Every time we would bring the trip up again we would laugh more. Such a incredible and fun lady she was. Always so positive. Gosh she was so proud of her family and loved talking about her grandchildren. Audrey will be greatly missed. Hold on to the beautiful memories she will always be in your heart. With deepest sympathy and friendship. Roberta "Bert"

I had the pleasure of working in the industry with Audrey for many years. She was one special lady. We had a lot of laughs through the years and I am sadden by her death. I loved going to her house for her special lunches she would make out of things I never ate....sprouts and garlic. You will be missed my dear friend Audrey. Be free and fly. You will be a hit.

Our deepest sympathies to her family. She was such a sweet lady & will always be remembered fondly! She helped us buy our house in Chicora while we were still stationed in Germany. (which was quite the task!!)And once we got back to the states she showed me around the area. Loved visiting at her home & seeing her artistic talents too! She was such a gem!
