Carol Schultz Obituary

Carol Jean Craig Schultz, 68, of Butler passed away Monday at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her family.
Born Jan. 20, 1947, in Berkley, Calif., Carol was the daughter of Kenneth R. and Helen D. (Johns) Craig Sr.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Carol was a member of McKee Chapel United Methodist Church in Fenelton.
She retired in October of 2014 from the position of program director for children and adult programs at Community Care Connections. She had been employed there for 33 years.
Throughout the years, Carol was an active member of the Girl Scouts of Western PA and Butler County Special Olympics programs.
Carol is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary Schultz; three daughters, Connie Schultz of Dayton, Ohio, Lori Schultz of Butler and Deanna (Jim) Black of Dayton, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Gaby Black of Dayton.
She is also survived by two brothers, David (Jeannie) Craig of Florida and Randy (Donna) Craig of Indiana; one sister, Connie (Bill) McKay of Virginia; one sister-in-law, Aline Craig of Florida; one uncle, Bill (Jean) Johns of North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Helen Johns Craig; three aunts, Eleanor Lucas, Mary Diehl and Virginia Workley; one brother, Kenneth Craig Jr.; and one nephew, Daniel Craig.
SCHULTZ - Friends of Carol Jean Craig Schultz, who died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Sheila Auer, pastor of McKee Chapel United Methodist Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Carol to Community Care Connections, 114 Skyline Drive, Butler, PA 16001 or to Special Olympics of Butler County, P.O. Box 2561, Butler, PA 16003.

So sorry for your lose. My daughter, Sara and I first met Carol when Sara was a girl scout, She remembers her with affection. I had the pleasure of working with Carol again as a volunteer at Community Care Connections. She will be missed.
