Cathy Burr Obituary
Cathy was born in Butler on Aug. 12, 1958, and was the daughter of Earl V. and Catherine J. Sceau Burr.
Cathy was a life member of the Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church in Prospect, where she was a member of the choir.
She was a lifelong farmer, and she also worked in the house cleaning business. Cathy loved to sew, and she was a true animal lover.
She was a loving sister and was kind and considerate to everyone. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include two brothers, Vincent Burr of Prospect, and Paul (Tammie) Burr of Butler; her twin sister, Catherine Burr of Prospect; and several cousins.
She was preceded by her parents and one nephew.
BURR - Visitation for Cathy A. Burr, who died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, 443 Main St., Prospect.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church in Prospect, with the Rev. Jason Sinagra, her church pastor, and the Rev. Steve Cort, her former pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church in Prospect.
