Clinton Simpson Obituary

Clinton Simpson
Clinton R. "Clint" Simpson, 70, of East Brady died Saturday at his home.
Born July 29, 1936, in Parker, he was the son of William I. and Carrie M. Barger Simpson.
He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed hunting at his camp in Marienville and loved his cat, Socks.
Mr. Simpson the Karns City High School and had been a mechanic at the Butler County Ford. He also had been a truck driver for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and was a heavy equipment operator for National Fuel Gas, Chicora.
He was a member of Moose Lodge 962 of Chicora and a former member of the East Brady Volunteer Fire Department and the East Brady Quarterback Club.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn A. Lucas Simpson, whom he married Feb. 19, 1957; five sons, William James Simpson and his wife, Shirley (Welter), of Chicora, Raymond Douglas Simpson and his wife, Lori (Reitz), of Butler, Michael Lee Simpson and his wife, Kimberly (Crissman) of East Brady, Mark Alan Simpson of East Brady and Joseph Keith Simpson and his wife, Tamara (Betoski), of Irmo, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He also is survived by a sister, Carrie Marie Kummer of Unionville; a sister-in-law, Sandra Lucas Williams and her husband, Robert, and her son, Robert Forrest Williams, all of Columbia, S.C.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Herbert Simpson.
SIMPSON - Graveside services for Clinton R. "Clint" Simpson, who died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County. The Rev. Paul DeBacco, pastor of the Crisswell Bible Baptist Church, will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to the East Brady Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 129, East Brady, PA 16028; or to the East Brady Area Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 325, East Brady, PA. 16028.
Arrangements are being handled by the Buechele Funeral Home, East Brady.

Jim kindly remembers Clint in the early days when they both had old "Hot"cars & would hang out & sometimes race.I remember Clint as your Dad "Mikey"--I felt sorry for him---He had to try to keep you out of trouble.
