Daniel Sample Obituary

Daniel D. Sample, 59, of Sarver died Saturday.
He was born Oct. 13, 1957, in Sarver, to Walter and Alice Blystone Sample.
Dan worked HVAC for Master Craft Refrigeration and was also a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Franklin Union Baptist Church in Worthington. Dan was an avid fisherman, a diehard Steelers fan, and most of all, an individual who loved spending time with his family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Walter; his wife of 23 years, Denise Claypoole Sample; his daughter, Toni Sample-Hubert; his son, Daniel Sample Jr.; his son, Adam Sample; his son, Roderick Adam (Sonja) Shaw; his daughter, Charity (Stephen) Chacalos; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel (Cindy) Sample, Timothy (Kathy) Sample and Mark (Rose) Sample; and one sister, Cheryl (Dave) Faulx.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Sample.
SAMPLE - Family and friends of Daniel D. Sample, who died Saturday, April 15, 2017, will be received from 5 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services at 7 p.m. at the Franklin Union Baptist Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Scott Jones officiating.
