David McNally Obituary

David P. McNally, 60, of Evans City, passed away on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024.
Born Oct. 25, 1963, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John McNally and the late Lillian (Tabacjar) McNally.
David loved the Pittsburgh Penguins, so much so that he became an usher at the Civic Arena. He was also a director of safety. Above all, he cherished his family and lifelong friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Denise McNally (Matthews), whom he married Feb. 7, 1987; a daughter, Sarah McNally; two brothers, John McNally and Daniel (Lori) McNally; two sisters, Lilly Dancison and Kathy (Tom) Herbert; in-laws, Nettie and Harry Matthews; brother-in-law, Brian (Carey) Matthews; godson, Brendan Shephard; cousin, Jon Tabacjar; nieces and nephews, Thomas Dancison Jr. (Karen), Julie Dancison, Melissa McNally, Daniel McNally Jr. (Amanda), Lindsay McNally-Bossong (Bryon), Ethan Matthews and Carley Matthews; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Kylie, Casey, Thomas, Daniel, Audrey and Roman.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tom Dancison; and great-niece, Ashley Dancison.
MCNALLY - Visitation for David P. McNally, who died Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in David's name be made to the AHN Cancer Institute, c/o Allegheny Health Network online at www.supportahn.org.

You are now flying with the angels my friend. I know that you will continue to watch over your family and friends and will have the best hockey seat in the house.
Dave had treated my kids and myself to a Pirates game several years ago and then to the KFC drive through afterwards. At no time did he ask for bread or biscuits yet the employee kept asking if he wanted bread. After the fourth time of Dave in a raised and agitated voice firmly stating "No bread !" and the kids and myself in tears with laughter, he said, "Fine! Gimme the bread"!. When we unpacked the food at house, there was no bread.
