Dolores Vivian MacMaster, 82, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mission Regional Hospital, in Mission, Texas, where she and her husband wintered.
Born June 13, 1942, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Paul H. and Edna Grace Neely Ifft.
For 17 years, she worked in the clerical and accounting departments at Heckett Engineering in Butler, a division of Harsco Corporation. For 13 years, she was the co-owner of the Laurel Tree shop in downtown Butler. She worked 10 years and retired from the Community Care Connection.
She was a faithful member of the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, where she had been the church treasurer, deacon, member of the bell choir, and enjoyed going to Lunch Bunch.
Dolores was an avid reader and enjoyed golfing with her husband. She golfed in six states and was a longtime member of the Friday Couples League at Stoughton Acres Golf Course, Butler.
She is survived by her husband, James W. MacMaster, whom she married March 11, 1972; her children, Skye MacMaster of Butler and Gregory (Wendy) MacMaster of Middletown, Md.; grandson, James W. MacMaster; and her siblings, Gloria (Richard) Ifft and Beverly (Joseph) Gogolin.
MACMASTER - Visitation for Dolores Vivian MacMaster, who died Saturday, March 22, 2025, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 31, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Allio, of Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, officiating, and the Rev. Jeff Curtis assisting.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
