betsy is such an "empathetic" feeling and thought, i felt compelled to say something:

fall to the ground and pray
not for joy but to his beauty and vision, where she now rest in his hearts dominion.

Cathy,

So sorry for your loss. If I had not crossed paths with you while we both worked at UPMC I would not have even known about her illness. You were a good sister. I remember Betsy well while working at Max & Erma's on the northside with her over 30 years ago. I'll always have fond memories of her. Hope you and Jim will endure this time, even as you are taking care of your mother. Take care and God bless you all during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Kevin Vance

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.

Remembering Betsy fondly, with love.
