Ellen Carfano Obituary

Ellen Rice Carfano
Ellen Marie Rice Carfano, 44, a five-year resident of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday at Genesis Healthcare System, Zanesville.
Born in Franklin, Nov. 29, 1961, she was the daughter of Charles D. Rice and Ann Liedel-Rice.
She was a 1979 graduate of Grove City High School and received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Slippery Rock University in 1984.
Mrs. Carfano was a Catholic.
Surviving are her husband, Christopher Kevin Carfano, whom she married April 23, 1996; her parents of Cranberry Township; her grandmothers, Pearl Simmons of Butler and Irene Liedel of Cranberry Township; two sisters, Beth Clegg and her husband, William, of Gibsonia and Amy Baker and her husband, Steven, of Volant; and two nieces, Sophia Clegg and Amanda Baker.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Anna Black Rice, who died in 1974, and her grandparents, Arthur and Nellie Black, Edison Rice and Ross Liedel.
CARFANO - Visitation for Ellen Marie Rice Carfano, who died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, will be private. Private family services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cunningham Funeral home, Grove City, with the Rev. John Oesterle, pastor of the Holy Redeemer Parish of Ellwood City, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis of Butler, 502Z\x W. Jefferson St., Butler, PA 16001; or to Crohn's Disease Research.
