Erma G. Long, 90, of Saxonburg went peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with family by her side. 
Born July 21, 1928, in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Howard W. Bartley and Rose Kammerdiner.
Erma was a member of the Penn Township High School Reunion Committee, card clubs, church socials and church events. She was an active member of the Middlesex Presbyterian Church. 
She enjoyed bowling, golfing, swimming, boating and water skiing, RV traveling and bluegrass music. Erma also loved card games and dinners with friends and daily walks. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting caps for infants.
Surviving are her sisters-in-law, Nancy J. (Joseph) Mellish, Rosella Long Thomas, Sue Bartley and Penny Bartley; her brother-in-law, Frank Schoentag Jr.; and her niece, Judith (Ken) Kemery.
Erma also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, to whom she was devoted; and her many friends. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Long; her sisters, Vernetta Marsh, and Arlene and Robert Lockhaiser; her brothers, William, Herbert Bartley and Wayne Bartley Sr.; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Schoentag and Cora Bartley; her brothers-in-law, Leroy Thomas, Glenn and Reta Long, and Robert and Marge Long; and many close and good friends.

LONG - Friends of Erma G. Long, who died Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. 
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Bowen officiating.
Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Middlesex Presbyterian Church.
