Evelyn Rodgers Obituary

Evelyn C. Rodgers, 74, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 1, 1943, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (McKissick) Rearick.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She was also a lifetime member of the East Butler Firehall.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, cooking, and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Rodgers, whom she married Dec. 18, 1965; six children, Pam (Dave) Daugherty of Louisville, Ky., Teresa (Jeff) Hepler, Rita Cravener, Paul (Marie) Rodgers Jr., Ellen Enslen (Charles Shever) and Wayne (Daelene) Rodgers, all of Butler; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Carol Deal of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darla Rodgers; a grandson, Joshua Hepler; two great-grandchildren, Jayden Enslen and Caitlin Hoffman; and six sisters and brothers.
RODGERS - Friends of Evelyn C. Rodgers, who died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, will be received from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church to recite the rosary.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.
Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
