I was fortunate enough to have lived next door to George Klein for 5 years - 1972-1977 and somewhat remained in touch. I was 6 years old and had the adventure of a life time. Mrs. Klein would make a cake for my sister, brother and I on our birthdays. They were both very kind. I returned in 1980 for 2 weeks to help George and his brother Joe with the water well business.....I'd go to the calls with them sitting between them....digging, pouring concrete, and running the trips to and from the truck. I would return a couple of times - brought my own kids to meeting George and Joe in 2008 following a deployment to Iraq . It's as if I had never moved away - just picked up where we left off. I have so many great memories of George - he was a very good person. He will be missed I hope by many and remembered for his hard work and love for animals.

This is a sad day for us. We will always remember this wonderful man. He was our close neighbor. He was always so kind to us and made us feel welcome when we moved to Overbrook Road. He was never too busy to stop and say hello if he saw us outside. We will miss you George. Our deepest condolences to Pat and his family.
