Geraldine Claypoole Obituary
She was born Oct. 22, 1940, in West Sunbury, the daughter of the late David P. and Margaret N. (Donaldson) Pisor.
Geraldine was a homemaker and loved to be at home with family enjoying time on the porch and hearing her wind chimes. She loved playing bingo and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her three daughters, Anna "Suz" Page of Hilliards, Nancy Blair of Petrolia and Barb (Bill) Gallagher of Boyers; her son, John Claypoole of Hilliards; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Bert (Linda) Pisor of Bruin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Peach" Claypoole; one daughter, Beverly Anthony; one son, William "Jake" Claypoole; eight brothers and two sisters.
CLAYPOOLE - Family and friends of Geraldine M. Pisor Claypoole, who died Friday, May 30, 2025, will be received for visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 2, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Gear, of Concord Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
