Jacob Seybert Obituary
He was born June 12, 1995, in Butler, and was a son of Gregory R. Seybert and Jennifer L. (Skurka) Seybert.
Jacob was a 2012 graduate of Butler High School and had been a cook at various Butler area restaurants.
He enjoyed playing video games, golfing, was an avid sports fan, especially Pitt and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He loved music, his family and his friends, and had a very strong Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Lucas J. Seybert and his sister, Lauren N. Seybert; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Linda Skurka; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Beverly Seybert; and an infant brother, Nicholas E. Seybert.
SEYBERT - Visitation for the family and friends of Jacob C. "Jackob" Seybert, who died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
His family asks that everyone attending please wear casual attire.
Funeral services will be held privately for his family.

Jackob was my most honest friend in college, he never was shy to tell me things I needed to hear. I spent soo many days at his house and Ghill creating memories that will last a lifetime. Jackob was always cunning, intelligent, and HYSTERICAL. He always wanted to have a good time and make people smile. jacob was such a huge part of my life. he was one of the select few people that remained my friend in highschool after becoming pregnant. he always believed in me and pushed me to do better to be better. he was such an amazing soul. he always knew just exactly how to lighten up a depressing room or situation and bring smiles to everyone´s faces. Jackob was one of my closest friends in college. I feel so lucky that he was such a big part of my college experience. He really is such a beautiful person. He could be silly, and crazy but he had THE biggest heart and he was so smart. He really loved and cared for his friends and family and I hope he continues to watch over us! One time me and Jackob were in the coveted basement, and we were drinking some of his favorite fireball shots. We both look at each other and realize we are both hungry, so he says, "don´t worry I got this" goes up to the freezer and grabs a steak, then proceeds to grab some blazin Doritos. Crushes them up and we coat the steak in them, I ask him if we should ya know like defrost it and he says, "no it´ll be fine"
We then went and threw that puppy on the grill, waited a swift 5 minutes and it seemed like forever. Took it off the grill and I´ll tell you what the middle was like rare steak ice cream. But that will go down in history as the best steak I´ve ever had, because all good food has a story behind it. Gonna miss you, our WWE highlight nights, and your hugs.

He was someone who made you feel like a friend right off the bat. He didn´t care about your past or anything, he just wanted to have a laugh and live and enjoy life w those around him.
