Jason Traggiai Obituary

Jason Regis Traggiai, 52, of Garrettsville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, after a tragic accident while working at his home.
Jason's family, Becca, his wife of 25 years, and daughters, Hanna and Emma, were his pride and joy. He always spoke of how proud he was of them and how lucky he was to have them in his life. Jason created a life that he loved. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time at his camp in Mt. Jewett, Pa., with his father, brother and nephews. In recent years, Jason began training at Dean Caputo's Powerhouse Gym to pursue men's physique bodybuilding. Jason always strived to be the best version of himself. He was a dedicated employee of Geis Construction where he was an architect and had recently began the process of opening his own private architecture firm, J Regis Traggiai Architects.
Jason was a devout Catholic and an active member of the SS Edward and Lucy Parish in Parkman, Ohio. He was a proud member of Great Lakes OH-35 Chapter of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry.
His family and friends will remember him as hardworking, selfless and as someone who could always make them laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Becca; and daughters, Hanna Traggiai, of Sheboygan, Wis., and Emma Traggiai, of Garrettsville, Ohio; his parents, Regis and Bette Jo Traggiai, of Cabot; father-in-law, Paul Nichols, also from Garrettsville; sister, Regina (Vince) Russo, of Sarver; brother, Donovan (Tracy) Traggiai, of Butler; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Aaron) Tucker, of Huntsburg, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Chelsea Christy, of Cabot, David Christy, of West Sunbury, Devin Christy, of Natrona Heights, Vincent (Kyla) Russo, of Bethel Park, Nicholas Russo, of Sarver, Marissa and Addyson Traggiai, of Butler, and Joseph, Megan and Isaiah Tucker, of Huntsburg; and great-niece and nephews, Bristol, Michael and Otto Berry, of Cabot.
TRAGGIAI - Calling hours for Jason Regis Traggiai, who died Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, will be held for immediate family from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sly Family Funeral Home in Middlefield, Ohio.

Jason was a friend of mine, and a great man. - This news is saddening in such a deep way, as he was too young to be taken from us all. - Sending love and prayers to all of his family and friends during this trying time.

I know my mother sent your family a card with my name on it. But I still want to I am sorry to know that Jason had passed away. He was a really good fellow to get to know. When we was lot and at the family reunions we all had a blast at Aunt Mary's camp.

Sending thoughts and prayers to Jason's family. He helped me with some drawings for VA. Reading all he did in faith for community and humanity was remarkable. I am very sorry for your loss.
