Kenneth Kastelic Obituary

Kenneth Jack Kastelic Sr., 81, of Butler passed away Tuesday evening at his home following a short illness, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born Oct. 29, 1936, in Butler, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna Krasovec Kastelic.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Italian Club, where he was a bartender for more than 45 years.
Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was employed at Pullman Standard for 16 years until it closed in 1981. He also worked for Castle Rubber, Spang & Co., Local 323 Laborers Union and Marmon Keystone.
Jack's biggest accomplishment and joy in life was his family. He was a generous and caring man. He always said, "I did the best I could," but he went above and beyond, leaving his family with such good memories.
He was a proud and independent man who lived his life to the fullest. Jack loved decorating his house with Christmas lights, and he won many awards for his efforts. He also loved running around town with his brother and best friend, Don Kastelic.
Special thanks go to Jack's granddaughter, Lisa Marie Walborn, who for years, took such good care of him. Her care enabled him to live his life to the fullest.
Jack is survived by his wife, Shirley Montgomery Ulisky Kastelic; five children, Jody Lynn Walborn and her husband, Jim, of Butler, Mark Alan Kastelic of Slippery Rock, Barbara Ann Williams and her husband, Dan, of Chicora, Jack Kastelic Jr. of West Sunbury, and Russell Lee Kastelic of Butler.
He is also survived by his brother, Donald Kastelic of Butler; 12 grandchildren, Lisa, Jimmy, Kristy, Amber, Cody, Marianna, Rachel, Jack III, Jesse, Ava, Russ Jr. and Roman; four great-grandchildren, Abby, Addi, Julian and Maverick; and two stepsons, Tracy and Terry Ulisky,
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Codispot Kastelic, who passed away on Dec. 8, 1989; and three brothers, Edward, Robert and Frank Kastelic.
KASTELIC - There will be no visitation for Kenneth Jack Kastelic Sr., who died Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
