Kevin Vaughn Obituary

Kevin L. 'Bud' Vaughn
Kevin L. "Bud" Vaughn, 48, of 244 Woodlawn Road died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an illness.
Born in Chalfont, Allegheny County, Dec. 21, 1956, he was the son of Eleanor Bauer Vaughn Weaver and the late Paul Vaughn.
He had a degree in business from Butler County Community College and was a sales representative for Interstate Batteries. He formerly was a generator winder for Westinghouse.
Mr. Vaughn was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Stock Market Club.
He was an avid runner in marathons and 5K runs. He also was an avid dirt biker, street rider and mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann McCracken Vaughn, to whom he was married for 18 years; a son and daughter, Joel R. and Stella E. Vaughn, both at home; his mother and stepfather, Eleanor and Richard Weaver of Chalfont; a brother, William Vaughn of Garrett County, Md.; three nephews; and two nieces.
VAUGHN - Friends of Kevin L. "Bud" Vaughn, who died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Western Pennsylvania/West Virginia Chapter, No. 2 Gateway Center, 13 North, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

Mary Ann & family,

I did not know Bud, except through Mari, who told us of his fight against Lymphoma. I lost my husband to Lymphoma 3 years ago and Mari knew I would include Bud in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
