Margaret J. "Squeek" Hufnagel

Margaret J. "Squeek" Hufnagel, 94, formerly of Harmony, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021.

Born Oct. 2, 1926, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Elmer McCormick and Katherine Lutz McCormick.

Margaret was the former owner of the Whiskey Hollow in Harmony, and was an Avon sales representative for more than 20 years.

She was a former member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople.

Margaret belonged to the Women of the Moose Lodge 957 in Harmony, and was an honorary member.

In her free time, she loved playing bingo and playing cards. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Cheryle Ann Walls of Akron, Ohio; her sister, Vera Eisenbrown of Harmony; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Karen Hufnagel of Butler; and her son-in-law, Gary Ostrowski of Butler.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Hufnagel, who passed away in 1989; her sons, Charles, Joseph and Kurt Hufnagel; her daughter, Katie Ostrowski; and two grandchildren, Joe and Charles Hufnagel.

HUFNAGEL - Friends of Margaret J. "Squeek" Hufnagel, who died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.

Margaret will be laid to rest privately at Grace Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Margaret's honor to the funeral home at the address above to help offset funeral costs.
