Marilyn Kennison
Marilyn "Mirt" Weiss Kennison, 61, of Cranberry Township died Sunday at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh after complications from heart surgery.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, William Kennison; her son, Sean; a daughter, Heather Stiefel; and grandsons, Connor and Aaron. She also is survived by sisters, Susan Wagner, Gretchen Weiss Bergmann and Susan Kennison; brothers, James Kennison and Michael Kennison; her mother, Beverly Weiss; and longtime friend, John F. Herold.
KENNISON - A memorial service for Marilyn "Mirt" Weiss Kennison, who died Sunday, April 3, 2011, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Glenshaw Alliance Church, 3601 Mount Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. There will be a luncheon at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Artificial Heart Program, UPMC Presbyterian, 200 Lothrop St., Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
Arrangements are by Neely Funeral Home, Glenshaw; and information also is available at www.neelyfuneralhome.com.
