Mary Jo Schoeffel Obituary
Born April 4, 1946, in Meadville, she was the daughter of the late Harry "Dutch" and JoHanna Milheim Schoeffel.
She had been a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City while growing up.
Mary Jo graduated in 1964, the last class of Evans City High School. She attended Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing where she obtained a degree in nursing. Her first position was as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit in AGH.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristan Muir of Georgia; and one son, Gregory (Irene) Muir of Washington; one sister, Sandra (George) Knauff of Zelienople; one grandson, Max; and nephews and cousins.
SCHOEFFEL - Services for Mary Jo Schoeffel, who died Friday, March 28, 2025, will be held in Florida.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, Evans City.
