Mary E. McManus
Mary E. Fergueson McManus, 70, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Harmony, died Friday at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mrs. McManus was born Jan. 16, 1938, in York, Pa. She was the former owner, along with her husband, of the Whiskey Hollow Inn, Harmony.
Mrs. McManus enjoyed gardening, reading and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Orr of Richmond, Va., Jamie Burgh and her husband, Doug, of Zelienople, and Kathleen Mulneix and her husband, Randy, of North Sewickley Township; two stepsons, Raymond McManus of Pittsburgh and Charles McManus of Jacksonville, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, James Orr, specialist, U.S. Army, Tracy Lynn Orr, Justin Burgh and his wife, Stephanie, Brittney, Brooke and Brent Mulneix and Rachael, Mark, Matthew and Michelle McManus. She also is survived by a great-granddaughter and a son-in-law, John Orr of Beaver Falls.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Fergueson Truitt, and her husband, James P. McManus, who died Feb. 18, 2007.
MCMANUS - Friends of Mary E. Ferguson McManus, who died Friday, July 11, 2008, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert A. Keplinger, pastor of English Lutheran Church, Zelienople, officiating. Interment will be in English Lutheran Church Cemetery, Zelienople.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
