Pamela Dunbar Obituary

Pamela Jo Dunbar
Pamela Jo Dunbar, formerly of Butler, died Sunday in Gaston, S.C.
Born March 3, 1959, in Butler, she was the daughter of Thomas R. and Shirley Walker Dunbar.
Pamela was a graduate of Butler High School and received a bachelor of science degree in accounting and a master's degree in tax accounting from Clemson University in South Carolina.
Formerly she was employed by the Army Corps of Engineers as a cooperative education student in accounting. After graduation from Clemson, Pamela was employed by Price Waterhouse and following that by Pirelli North America. She also taught mathematics at a community college in Columbia, S.C.
Caring for stray animals and raising purebred dogs was a very meaningful part of Pam's life.
She is survived by her father and mother of Butler; two brothers, Brady Dunbar of Marienville, Forest County, and David Dunbar of Slippery Rock; a sister, Susan Dunbar Bailey and her husband, Kevin, of Marshall, Va.; and a niece, Jessica Dunbar of Parkersburg, W.Va.
DUNBAR - Friends of Pamela Jo Dunbar, who died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Oden Warman officiating. Burial will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Human Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
