Phyllis Bilowich Obituary

Phyllis M. Bilowich, 99, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on June 17, 1924, in Butler, to the late Harold J. Tritsch and the late Audrey (Corbin) Tritsch.
Phyllis was a member of the PLCO Cancer Research Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She also was a member of the USO, and a life member of the Tanglewood Senior Center. Phyllis was a homemaker and was a bookkeeper for various companies in the Butler area.
She is survived by two sons, Russ S. (Bruni) Bilowich of Akron, Ohio and J. Andrew Bilowich of Butler; two daughters, Wendy Bilowich of Butler and Darla J. (William) Brannon; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Bilowich of Summerville, Fla.; one brother, William Tritsch of Berlin, Pa.; one sister, Carol Atkinson of Green Valley, Ariz; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bilowich Jr., whom she married on Nov. 19, 1949, and who passed away on May 4, 1984; three sons; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; one sister; and one brother.
BILOWICH - According to her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral for Phyllis M. Bilowich, who died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of family.
Private burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
Arrangements were entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
