Randy Burkett Obituary
He was born on Nov. 13, 1954, in New Brighton, Pa., to Henry and Shirley Burkett, who preceded him in death.
Randy worked 30 years for Mine Safety Appliances and enjoyed his retirement. He was the life of the party and was loved by everyone who met him. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
He leaves behind his brothers, Greg Burkett of Warren, Pa., and Scott Burkett of Bridgton, Maine; and dear friend, Michele Belic of Connoquenessing.
BURKETT - Friends of Randy J. Burkett, who died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, will be received from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Randy's memory to the Butler County Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

He was one of my great friends since the mid 80s and spoke with him this past July. Can't believe it, just found out. I will miss him so much.

Randy was a friend of my mother´s. He worked with her at Mine Safety. He was part of a group of friends who worked at MSA that got together often! There was a real bond in that group unlike that seen today among coworkers. Randy cared for those in this group by calling to chat, offering to help when needed, and just being a TRUE Friend! He was always full of laughter, good at listening, and telling stories. Although I wasn´t part of the group, he always made me feel welcome by ushering me into the conversation. He will be missed-I´m certain! My sympathies to all of the Special Friends in that Group he leaves behind and to his family.

Randy was one of the kindest, sweetest, most good-natured people I've ever known. We were all lucky to have him in our lives.
