Tonya, Ryan ,Marie & all of Mark's family, We are so saddened by your loss. It is a loss for everyone who had the pleasure to know Mark. He was a wonderful, kind hearted man. I will always remember his jokes, his laugh & the silly prank that he left all over my driveway. He was truly an exceptional human being! Remember that he loved his family more than anything. He is probably making people laugh up in heaven right now! We will always remember Mark with a smile on our faces!! God Bless you

It was such a pleasure getting to know Mark. He was "such a good neighbor" to us - always so kind and generous and helpful!
It is with much fondness, we remember all the times he stopped to visit with us. We learned so much about the local history from him as he had such a passion for such things.
His eternal jokes kept us smiling and his challenging mental puzzles kept us thinking. He also opened our eyes to what this area has to offer. You could sense how much he loved his "stomping grounds"!
It is with grateful hearts that we remember him sharing the illusive morel mushrooms or freshly caught Walleye from the waters of Lake Arthur. He seemed to get as much pleasure from the "sharing" as he did from the capturing. We are going to miss all these things so much.
To see the love and caring Mark gave to his children, Ryan and Marie, was truly moving. They meant the world to him. These good characteristics found in him will live on in them.
It is with much sadness and many good memories that we say goodbye to this good man. We were blessed to have known him!
