On Oct. 12, 1961, Rob was born in Corry, Pa., and was the son of Robert A. Davis Sr. of Edinboro and Anne Shabaan of Corry. He graduated in 1979 from General McLane High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and after receiving an honorable discharge, he then continued to serve in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for several years.

Rob married Melinda (Mindy) Marsh, of Cambridge Springs, Pa., in October 1990. They moved to Harrisville, where they built their life together. They were blessed with three daughters, Julia (Johnny) Stiglitz, of Knox, Pa., Morgan Davis (Chad Hulings), of Slippery Rock and Jordan Davis, of Harrisville.
Rob will be remembered by his friends and family for his sense of humor and love of life. He never hesitated to share his love of America. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, attending the races with his buddy, Jack, camping with Bobby and spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by his parents; stepparents, Iva Davis and Adel Shabaan; sister, Kathy Booth, of Lewes, Del.; brother, Rusty (Desiree) Davis, of Girard, Pa.; and multiple aunts, uncles, brothers and sister, in-laws and nieces and nephews.
His family would like to thank all the wonderful medical personnel that took care of him throughout his cancer battle.

I was Rob ` s Lincoln Welder rep for a few years, got transferred away and reunited with him again over the past 15 years. I crossed paths with at each of the companies he worked for and customers didn´t buy from those companies, the bought "from Rob"! Joy Mfg had a national contract to buy from Rob ` s competitor, but the locals made it clear to me WHO they would buy from and we had a lot of fun going around that contract. He always had a smile and a laugh when I would see him. We became " competitors " the last 8 years or so, but I told his customers, " I don´t sell against Rob" I joined Polk Sportmans Club when Rob invited me to the wild game dinner there. He loved his family and his country and we all loved him. You are all in my prayers, Kerry Sabo

I worked with Rob when he was an Account Manager with Airgas and then had the priveladge to work with him again when Airgas acquired Goss Gas back in December of 2022. Rob was one of the first Airgas employees I met when I joined the company back in 2002 and he went out of his way to welcome me and to make me feel part of the team. Rob was a joy to be around and was well respected by his customers and co-workers. Over the last 8 months, even when Rob was at his weakest or after a difficult doctors appoinment, he always found a way to stay positive and keep fighting. No matter how sick he felt he still found time to check in on his customers and to keep in touch with the Airgas team in Franklin. Rob´s kindness, laughter and commitment to customer service will be greatly missed.
