Robert Dufford Obituary
He was born Jan. 19, 1936, in Butler, the son of the late William W. Dufford and Kathryn E. (Hillard) Dufford.
Robert attended Rider United Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of U.S. Army.
He had been a surveyor in the Butler area for many years and had owned and operated Dufford Greenhouse.
He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Gayle L. Dufford, who he married April 29, 1967; one daughter, Gayle "Beth" (Dennis) Shook of Chicora; one son, James (Maria) Dufford of Bridgeport, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Morganne, Amanda and Jennifer Shook, and Brianna, James and Isaac Dufford; two sisters, Cheryl (Ronald) Slaney of Pittsburgh and Donna Hepner of Butler; and one brother, Bill (Wilma) Dufford of Orlando, Fla.
DUFFORD - Funeral services and burial for Robert Earl Dufford, who died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, will be private.
Arrangements are handled by the Young Funeral Home, Butler
