Robert Skal Obituary
He was born in Butler on May 26, 1945, and was the son of the late John and Pauline (Nowakowski) Skal.
Bob graduated from Butler High School Class of 1965, before he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was employed at Armco and was a member of the Sheet Metal Local 12 Union.
Bob was known to be a good husband, good father, and hardworking. He loved to have a good laugh, and he also played drums in a band.
Bob was the beloved husband of Joy (Wilson) Skal, since their marriage on Aug. 19, 1967; father of Brian Skal, Brad (Ann) Skal, Shannon Skal and Jodee Wymer; and brother of Ed Skal and Paul Skal.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Cherri Hicks; and eight siblings.
SKAL - Family and friends of Robert "Bob" Skal, who died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Hadn´t seen him in years but my memories of him were always of a friendly and happy to see you kind of guy . Sorry to hear of his passing.
