Betty Skal Obituary
Betty Lou enjoyed playing cards, cooking for family and loved everything Elvis.
In addition to her parents, Betty Lou was preceded in death by a son, Byron Skal. Survivors include three children, Matthew Skal and wife Claudia, Mark Skal and wife Jenn and Rebecca Mikovch and husband Eric; eight grandchildren, Cassandra, and Alex Skal, Hunter Hatt, Hailey Newell, Cole, Brodie, Mason, and Tessa Mikovch; three siblings, Rayburn Cornman and wife Cynthia, Mary Lawlis and husband Jim, and Walter Cyktich and wife Rhonda; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are private at the convenience of the family. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West are handling arrangements.

To Mark and Jenn and family ...I will be praying for you and yours...while you going through this difficult time...I know this pain very well ..your mom now is with God ...just hold on to God he will give you strength through your darkest hour...your mom love you ...that love never dies ..I know for sure..God will never leave you or forsake you...hold on my dearest ...ones...just be strong...just hold on ....and give it to God ...he will help you through this...may God be with Skal family always...your friend.. I never had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady but I was BLESSED to have lived across the street from her son Matt, and grandson Alex. If those two are any indication or reflection of this BLESSED women then she had to be One of the best to ever do it. Those two gentlemen go above and beyond for everyone in the neighborhood without even being asked. They give of themselves freely and without reward. I am certain that when she arrived at the gates of heaven, the halls were lined with the angels and saints who were all giving a thunderous applause upon her entry. I would like to thank her for raising such a great son and two great grandkids...they are a joy and a BLESSING to have in our lives and they learned by example!
Eternal rest Grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her and may her soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of GOD rest in peace AMEN
