Ruth Ann Semel

Ruth Ann Semel, 78, of Carlisle, died peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Raised in Harrisville, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Velma (McBee) Barr and the wife of 55 years to Lawrence Semel.
Ruth Ann retired from Citizens Bank of Morgantown, W.Va., as a vice president.
She dedicated many years to assisting her husband, Lawrence, in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, excelling as a Sunday school teacher and showing hospitality to countless people over the years.
In addition to her husband, Ruth Ann is survived by her son, Aaron Semel, and his wife, Tanya, of Ohio; her daughter, Tara Samuelsen, her husband, Andrew, of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Sydney, Nathan, Erik, Luke and Johnny; and her sister, Barbara Rowe, and her husband, Richard, of Butler.
SEMEL - Family of Ruth Ann Semel, who died Thursday, March 21, 2024, will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at JAMISON MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 117 North Main St., Harrisville.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
