Thomas Christy Obituary
Tom was born in Pittsburgh on June 6, 1985, a son of Marjorie J. (McGuire) Christy of Brackenridge, and Thomas L. Christy of South Buffalo Township.
Tom was a 2003 graduate of Freeport Area High School, where he was a member of the hockey and soccer teams. He also graduated from WyoTech, where he received his accreditation in automotive technology.
Tom was employed as a service technician at Haas Factory Outlet in Tampa, Fla. He traveled all over the state to repair Haas machines.
Tom had a great passion for cars and motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, Tom is survived by his sisters, Michelle Russell of Tarentum, and Pamela and Brad Rowan of Natrona Heights; three nephews, Connor, Wyatt, and Sage; four nieces, Kyanne, Passion, Hannah and Skylar.
Tom is also survived by his girlfriend and love of his life, Jamie.
Tom was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Lois Christy; and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Virginia McGuire.
CHRISTY - Family and friends of Thomas M. Christy, who died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Damon officiating.
Graveside services will be held in the Sarverville Cemetery in Buffalo Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freeport Area Hockey Boosters, 139 Mesa Drive, Freeport, PA 16229.

My heart is with you, there are no words. Tom worked with me in Florida right after he moved here. Even after he left. He still would drop in and we would catch up. He always had a smile and seemed to look at life as always half full and never going empty. He lived like he wanted with a free spirit, for that take comfort. he will always be with you sometimes when you least think, a wisp of wind or and odd roar of a motorcycle. He isn't gone, he is just away.
