Myrna Taylor Obituary
Myrna was born on June 25, 1940, in Gordon County, GA, the daughter of the late William Esburn Dempsey and Geraldine Hays Dempsey. In addition to her parents, Myrna was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Taylor. Before retirement, Myrna worked for the Federal Probation Services for over 23 years. She was a member of Farmville Methodist Church.
Mynra is survived by: her son, Tim Taylor; one granddaughter, Cassidy (Jazz) Gregoire and Jazz Gregoire; two sisters, Juanita Dempsey and Carol Dempsey Davis; two brothers, Terry Dempsey and Rick Dempsey; sister-in-law, Carolyn Neal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services were conducted on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Hibberts officiating. Ronnie Davis and Sandra Davis will have charge of music. Burial took place in Chandler Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving included Ronnie Davis, Bryan Davis, Jason Dempsey, Lee Hamby, Dustin Harmon, and Will Fincher.
