Abelardo M. "Abel" Castaneda Sr.

Abelardo "Abel" M. Castaneda, Sr., 40, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. He was born in Robstown, Texas on August 4, 1967 to Margarito and Rosa Molina Castaneda. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a self employed plumber. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family he leaves to cherish his memories is his wife, Priscilla Castaneda: his children, Abelardo Castaneda, Jr., and Amber Castaneda; his four sisters, Dora Castaneda, Norma Castaneda, Sylvia Salazar, and Cynthia Charles; his five brothers, Rey Castaneda, Margarito Castaneda, Jr., Gerardo Castaneda, Albert Castaneda, and Lupe Flores; his half-sisters, Estella Olivarez, Ester Garcia, and Elma Munoz all of Robstown, Texas. He was also blessed with one granddaughter, Katelynn Rose Castaneda. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 16, 2008 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas
