Bob Evers Obituary

EVERS Rockport, TexasBob Evers passed away October 11, 2011 at the age of 87. He was born December 8, 1923 in Graham, Florida. He served in the US Navy during WWII, he was an elder at Bent Oaks Church of Christ, he was an entrepreneur in real estate and investments and also served on various Board of Directors for various Banks and Businesses. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Evers. He is survived by his two sons, Robert Evers (Patricia) of Fairfax, Virginia and Jim Evers (Marian) of Wimberley, Texas; daughter Susan Gilliland of Bryan/College Station, Texas; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. Interment will follow in Rockport Cemetery.
