Cleotilde Martinez Obituary

Cleotilde Martinez, 87, passed away August 1, 2008 in an Alice nursing home. She was born August 5, 1920 in Concepcion, Texas to Felipe and Cleotilde Martinez. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Martinez, her son, Robelin Martinez , two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include three daughters: Olga (Roman) Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Oralia (Reynaldo) Ramos of Corpus Christi, Texas and Enedina (Alfonso) Garcia of Alice, Texas; two brothers, Uriel Martinez of Alice, Texas and Ovidio (Simona) Martinez of Corpus Christi, Texas; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 1:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, August 4, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with rosary recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice, Texas. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Alice, Texas. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
