Constantine Raymond Graygor Constantine Raymond Graygor passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 after a yearlong battle with lymphoma. Connie was 73 years old. Born in Southampton, New York to Carl Peter and Stella Dominski Graygor he lived most of his life next to the Gulf Coast he so loved in Corpus Christi, Texas.Connie is survived by his partner Cindy Rigby of Cleburne, Texas. The family Connie was so proud of includes daughter Tracey ann Graygor Cannizzarro of Staten Island, New York, son, Christopher Michael Graygor of Mansfield, Texas, daughter, Carley Graygor Alexander of Issaquah, Washington, sister Dorothy Norris of Marble Falls, Texas, sister Lucille Weaver of Marble Falls, Texas, granddaughter Alexandria Marie Musto of Staten Island, New York, grandson William Bruce Graygor of Mansfield, Texas and grandsons Collin James, Ryan Gray, and Evan David Alexander of Issaquah, Washington. Connie had a wonderful childhood on the water in Southampton, New York. As a young man, he worked as a valet and a golf caddy at Southampton Golf Club. He enlisted in the Army at age 17 and served as a cryptographer in Korea. He was one of Olivetti Corporation's top salespeople in the late 1960s. An entrepreneur at heart, Connie tried his hand at a number of diverse careers including ownership of Copy Distributing Co. in San Antonio and praline candy production. However, he found his true calling in the custom homebuilding business. Connie founded Southshore Homes and Homes by Connie Graygor and with the help of the 'best subcontractors around' built some of Corpus's finest homes.Offshore fishing, motorhome travel and new cars were just a few of Connie's hobbies. But, what we will remember most about him is his magnanimous personality. He was the wise guy who was always the life of the party. The family invites friends to gather and celebrate Connie's life on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 1:00 until 4:00 at Katz 21, 5702 Spohn Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas. Father Jim Schellenberg will conduct the memorial service in the banquet room at 1:30.
