Cornell Lamb, Jr.Corpus Christi, TXElder Cornell Lamb, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX finished his journey on earth to be with the Lord, October 7, 2013 at the age of 76. He was born December 30, 1936 to the late Elder Cornell Lamb, Sr. and missionary Rubell Lamb Hawkins in Kingsville, TX. He served at Watkins Temple Church for 46 years. He was known for his humble spirit. He is preceeded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Marie Brown.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, missionary Verdell C. Lamb, his children, Jeannine (Van B.) Smith III, Gwendolyn (Gerio) Romero, Pamela Lamb, Jennifer Lamb and Barnard Lamb and three grand children, Ashlee Danielle Lamb, Hanna Leah Darden and Selena Romero, his brother, Charles (Renate) Lamb and numerous other family members.He will be missed by many and welcomed graciously into the arms of our Heavenly Father.We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone for your kind words and prayers. We would also like to thank the Angel Bright staff for their loving care.Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens from 5pm-7pm on October 15, 2013. The home going celebration will begin at 11am at Greater Shiloh Church of God In Christ, 1401 Cliff Maus Dr., Corpus Christi, TX, 78416 on October 16, 2013.Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
